
David Piper Is a Podiatrist.
Devon born, he qualified from the University of Plymouth in 1993 (as a State Registered Podiatrist) with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Podiatry. He worked his first year with Scholls in the City of Gloucester and then returned to Devon to work in private practice. This was in conjunction with three years for the NHS in Chard and Ilminster in Somerset. In 1999 The Bystock Terrace Clinic was opened in Exeter and on the 1st January 2004 moved to the much improved facilities at 1, Silver Terrace (St. Davids) Exeter.
David provides Podiatry care including cosmetic enhancement of thickened, damaged and fungal nails. Biomechanics with the prescription of orthoses to help correct mechanical abnormalities and nail surgery under local anaesthetic for ingrown toenails. There are also Verruca treatments with cryotherapy (freezing). The needs of patients with disease processes such as Rheumatoid Arthritis, Osteoarthritis and Diabetes are also catered for.
